Maintenance Mechanic
Great opportunity for a Maintenance Mechanic for our Carlstadt, NJ extrusion and injection molding facility.
Initial pay is based on experience, but we strive to make employee development a priority and offer step and pay progressions.
Requirements:
- Perform preventative maintenance (PM) on equipment.
- Troubleshoot and make necessary repairs/adjustments on equipment during production to minimize downtime and maximize equipment efficiency.
- Analyze equipment to improve efficiency, safety and quality.
- Ensure good communication between different shifts.
- Adhere to plant safety and quality requirements.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years experience in a manufacturing environment or degree in related fields
- Strong troubleshooting and machine repair skills essential
- Pipefitting, Welding and Brazing skills a plus
- PLC and relay logic experience a plus
